8:30am Saturday 28th January 2012
CAERPHILLY Players Amateur Dramatic Society is set to perform Cinderella in the Caerphilly Workmen's Hall after the huge success of Sleeping Beauty last year.
This performance promises to be as brilliant as last year and is written by Phil and Kathy Lye, and directed by Malcolm Rees, assisted by Sharon Harries.
The scene is set in a big house at the end of Van Road, where Cinderella lives with her evil stepmother and stepsisters. Her only friend is buttons, who works at Caerphilly Castle.
There is a very important ball coming up, where the Prince of Caerphilly needs to choose a bride, but who will he choose, with so many beautiful ladies there?
So come and find out, and join in on the fun and frolics as Cinderella, Buttons, the very ugly sisters and a whole crew of colourful characters as they entertain you with comedy, singing, magic and intrigue.
The show will take place at Caerphilly Workmen's Hall on Wednesday February 22 to Friday February 24 doors open 6.30pm Curtains Up 7pm and Saturday February 25 with two performances doors open 12.30pm Curtains Up 1pm and 3.30pm Curtains up 4pm.
Tickets are on sale at The Visit Caerphilly Centre, The Twyn, Caerphilly telephone on 029 20880011. Tickets are available on the door. Tickets cost £6 for adult and £4 for children.
