Church move services to school hall

A CHURCH in Blackwood will be holding services in the nearby comprehensive school until work is completed on refurbishments on their building.
Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Cefn Road, Blackwood will be holding their Sunday morning services in Blackwood Comprehensive School from February 12.
This will enable the church to undertake some modernising and development work in the building.
Reverend Mark Thomas said: "We are very grateful for the support of the school in allowing us the use of their main hall whilst we undertake this work.
"We are excited about the development work that we hope to commence soon, and about meeting in Blackwood Comprehensive in the meantime. As a growing church, these are interesting and exciting times for us."
