Montenegro 1 Wales 0 – Misery for Toshack's men in opening qualifier
8:32pm Friday 3rd September 2010

WALES again started a qualifying campaign with defeat as they went down 1-0 in Montenegro tonight.
John Toshack’s men took the game to the opposition in the latter stages but Mirko Vucinic’s strike in the 30th minute ultimately did for them in their first Euro 2012 qualifier.
Wales avoid the bottom spot of Euro Qualifying Group G after England thumped Bulgaria 4-0 at Wembley. Tottenham's Jermain Defoe scored a hat-trick with Adam Johnson also on the scoresheet.
